Trier's old town

Blick auf denTrierer Hauptmarkt im Herzen der Stadt Trier
Our holiday apartment is located about six kilometers outside of Trier city center in a quiet residential area. To get to know the beauty of Trier's old town, it takes about 15 minutes by car. By bus, which leaves very close to our house, it takes about 25 minutes. Information about the city's sights and sightseeing opportunities can be obtained from us in the house or from the tourist information office at the Porta Nigra.

The ancient Romans

Römerbauten in Trier
The ancient Romans left behind many relics from times long past in Trier, Germany's oldest city, with the Porta Nigra, a former city gate, probably the most famous. Book a tour with a "Roman gladiator". He will lead you through the corridors and rooms of some of the ancient buildings and take you back to the time of ancient Rome. Dates and tickets are available from the tourist information office at the Porta Nigra.

Hobby & Leisure

Ferienwohnung Grete-Freizeitmöglichkeiten rund um Trier
Whether hiking on the nearby hiking trails and dream loops, fishing in the Moselle and its nearby tributaries, cycling along the Moselle, Saar, Ruwer or Sauer or a leisurely wine tasting directly at the winery or a visit to the theater - many things are possible in Trier.
The oldest city in Germany offers more than "just" shopping and Romans.
